Description: <div>This layer contains point features representing existing and planned recycled water and groundwater replenishment facilities within the jurisdiction of the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB8, Region 8). Facilities are classified by operational timeframe: Current (in operation), By 2026, and By 2028+ (anticipated). Each point was generated by geocoding the facility's street address to obtain its latitude/longitude, which was then placed in ArcGIS Pro. Coordinates are referenced to the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS 1984) geographic coordinate system (decimal degrees).</div><div><br /></div><div>Purpose: This layer provides a public-facing reference for the location and projected timeline of recycled water facilities across Region 8 and supports outreach and regulatory awareness.</div><div><br /></div><div>Who benefits: Water Board staff, partner and local agencies, and members of the public who need a general reference for where recycled water facilities are located and planned within the region.</div><div><br /></div><div>Limitations: Locations are approximate, derived from address-level geocoding, and are intended for general reference, planning, and visualization only — not for survey, legal boundary, or engineering use. Planned facilities and timeframes are subject to change.
