View In:   ArcGIS JavaScript   ArcGIS Online Map Viewer   ArcGIS Earth   ArcGIS Pro

Service Description: Points of Diversion (PODs) are locations where water is being drawn from a water source such as a stream or river. The point locations in this service were derived by extracting the best known location information from the POD table from the WRIMS database supplied by the California State Water Resources Control Board. This service should be used for general mapping of Points of Diversion. Because of source data irregularities, some POD locations may be inaccurate by as much as half the width of a Public Land Survey System section.
